Winks of Tangency

“At first glance, Paul D’Haese's photographs seem to welcome us Absurdly. They show us an environment made of odds and ends, with houses with blind gables, badly placed garage doors, and traffic lights lost in the middle of nowhere. However, on closer inspection, these places that seem so quirky to us at first glance owe nothing to chance.”
