Biography
David Fathi
Graduating with a master’s degree in mathematics and computer science, David Fathi develops a photographic practice alongside his career as an engineer. He explores the connections between science, politics, and the limits of human knowledge. Exhibited in festivals and institutions since 2014, such as the Rencontres de la Photographie in Arles and Fotofest (Houston), David Fathi is currently reflecting on AI and the images from the past that haunt our technologies, particularly in the series Prelude to the Broken RAM (2022) and The Machine Seems to Need a Ghost (2023).
