Biography
Luc Praet (BE, 1966) began his career in photography at the age of 16 as an assistant and opened his own studio in 1988, specialising in fashion photography. He has worked with many renowned brands and published his work in several fashion magazines. In 2002, he shot the global campaign for Lancôme's Miracle perfume with actress Uma Thurman in Los Angeles for the Air Paris agency. Since 2010, he has devoted himself mainly to his artistic projects, such as the Landslag Project and his ALTERED/The Players series, which he began in 2016. His work has been exhibited at ELEVENSTEENS (Brussels) in 2020 and 2023, as well as at the 7th edition of the PhotoBrussels Festival, at the Galerie La Patinoire Royale Bach (Brussels) in 2022 and at the Hangar in 2024. Luc Praet will present his new series Flowers at Art Rotterdam/Unseen 2026.
